PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an envelope-type RNA or DNA virus.SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: proliferating a host cell； introducing a composition comprising a medium for proliferation of a virus culture into the host cell before, during or after viral infection of the host cell, where the medium comprises one or more EO-PO block copolymers, the one or more EO-PO block copolymers comprise poloxamer 407, poloxamer 403, or a combination thereof, and the concentration of the one or more EO-PO block copolymers is 0.001% to 3.0%； introducing a virus into the host cell before, during or after the introduction of the composition； incubating the host cell, the virus and the medium for a prescribed period； separating the medium from the host cell； and collecting the virus from the medium.【課題】エンベロープ型ＲＮＡまたはＤＮＡウイルスを製造する方法を提供する。【解決手段】上記方法は、宿主細胞を増殖させる工程、ウイルス培養物を増殖させるための培地を含む組成物を、宿主細胞のウイルス感染の前、その間、もしくはその後に宿主細胞に導入する工程であって、培地は、１種以上のＥＯ－ＰＯブロックコポリマーを含み、１種以上のＥＯ－ＰＯブロックコポリマーはポロキサマー４０７、ポロキサマー４０３、またはそれらの組合せを含み、かつ上記１種以上のＥＯ－ＰＯブロックコポリマーの濃度は０．００１％～３．０％である工程、上記組成物の導入の前、その間、もしくはその後にウイルスを宿主細胞に導入する工程、宿主細胞、ウイルス、および培地を所定期間インキュベートする工程、培地を宿主細胞から分離する工程、および培地からウイルスを採取する工程を含む。【選択図】なし
