The chain link fence has a wire direction 33 and an elastic direction. The wire direction of each mesh portion 34 is perpendicular to the outer side 36 of the mesh portion, and the outer side corresponds to the outer edge of the bottom mesh. The outer side of the mesh part is knotted. The present invention also provides a method for producing such an aquaculture net.
