PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope and an endoscope apparatus adaptable to the speed-up of driving signals, and capable of reducing noise radiation.
SOLUTION: A reference clock CLK and a vertical synchronization signal VD for generating horizontal transfer pulses, etc. generated in a video processor 3 are output to a connector 9 of the electronic endoscope 2. The reference clock CLK becomes a differential signal via a differential driver 19, and the signal is transmitted to the distal end of an insertion part 6 via twisted pair cables 21 with suppressed noise radiation. A plurality of CCD driving signals are generated by a timing generator 16 and a driver 17 set inside the distal end 11 to drive a CCD 15.
