Lithium silicate-glass ceramic (I) comprises at least 6.1 (preferably at least 10) wt.% of zirconium oxide. Independent claims are included for: (1) a lithium silicate glass with an embossed material for forming lithium metasilicate- and/or lithium disilicate crystals, comprising components of (I)； (2) a base glass comprising components of (I)； (3) producing (I), comprising subjecting the base glass with components of (I) or the glass to at least a heat treatment of 450-950[deg] C； (4) coating zirconia ceramic, comprising applying (I) or glass on zirconia ceramic and exposing at elevated temperature； and (5) the coated zirconia ceramic.
