The present invention is concerned with articles suitable for providing a multistep homecare or personal care treatment, comprising (i) a substrate； (ii) a lower layer provided on the substrate； and (iii) an erodible upper layer at least partially overlaying the lower layer； wherein the upper layer comprises a first composition providing a first homecare or personal care benefit, and the lower layer comprises a second composition providing a second homecare or personal care benefit. The first and second active ingredients may be incompatible (for example reactive) with one another.
