The present invention relates to an antioxidant composition containing an enzyme-treated extract of clove and a preparation method thereof, and more particularly to a composition for antioxidation wherein an extract of clove is treated with an enzyme to improve antioxidation ability and a method for producing the composition. The clove extract having improved antioxidative function by the enzyme treatment according to the present invention can be used for the production of cosmetics and foods which are derived from natural products and which require a substance having excellent antioxidant ability.본 발명은 정향의 효소처리 추출물을 함유하는 항산화용 조성물 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 자세하게는 정향 추출물을 효소처리하여, 항산화능력을 향상시킨 항산화용 조성물 및 그의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 효소처리에 의하여 항산화 기능이 향상된 정향추출물은 천연물 유래이면서, 뛰어난 항산화능을 가지는 물질이 요구되는 화장품, 식품 등의 제조에 사용될 수 있다.
