The present invention provides a method for preparing retort-packed and half-moon-shaped rice cakes. More specifically, the method includes the steps of: vacuum-packing half-moon-shaped rice cakes in a retort packaging container (PET/Ny/Al/CPP) and steaming and sterilizing the vacuum-packed half-moon-shaped rice cakes by performing a retort processing operation for 15-19 minutes at 120-130°C. The method of the present invention can enhance the hygiene and the preference degree of the half-moon-shaped rice cakes and develop distributable half-moon-shaped rice cake products.
