The present invention relates to a method for producing monosaccharides in agar using ionic liquid pretreatment, and according to the present invention, pretreatment of Gelidium algae with ionic liquids and agarose in the pretreatment. When the enzyme is hydrolyzed by the addition of the glycosylating enzyme mixture, monosaccharides (D-galactose and 3,6-anhydro-L-galactose) can be produced in high yield in agar.본 발명은 이온성 액체 전처리를 이용한 한천에서 단당류를 생산하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따르면 우뭇가사리과(Gelidium) 해조류를 이온성 액체(Ionic liquids)로 전처리 하고, 상기 전처리물에 아가로오스(agarose) 당화 효소 혼합물을 첨가하여 효소 가수 분해시킬 경우, 한천에서 단당류(D-갈락토오스 및 3,6-언하이드로-L-갈락토오스)를 고수율로 생산할 수 있다.
