PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning rod wherein a solid tip section is fit into a tubular tip section-holding rod to form a tip section rod wherein both the members are linearly jointed.SOLUTION: The spinning rod has the tip section rod 10 formed by fitting a solid tip section 12 into the tubular tip section-holding rod 15. A notch portion 20 is formed in the front end portion region of the tubular tip section-holding rod.
