PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fitting properties of a waist side edge parts and to improve thereby excellent fitting feeling and to prevent leaking forward and backward from occurring.
SOLUTION: Sheet-type elastic materials are folded back and their opposite surfaces are not fixed mutually to form a cushioning material 10, and the cushioning material 10 intervenes in layers between a liquid impermeable sheet 1 and a liquid permeable top sheet 2 at waist side edge parts of the abdominal and back sides. The cushioning material 10 has a two-fold configuration extended from the groin to the waist side and folded back at the end of the waist side end part toward the groin side, and the space 10s between the opposite surfaces of the cushioning material 10 is inserted with the end part 3U of the absorber 3 at the waist side.
