PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee part covering appliance which can sufficiently relax muscles around the shoulder joint of a wearer, for making a relaxing state in which a repair rotator cuff is released from tension, thereby reducing occurrence of re-fracture of the repair rotator cuff.SOLUTION: An armpit pad 2 is arranged on an armpit of a wearer H, and is arranged in a state of being sandwiched between a biceps brachii and a chest wall of the wearer H during wearing of it. The armpit pad 2 can be deformed by filling or discharge of air, a shape of the armpit pad 2 can be adjusted to fill a gap formed between the chest wall and a medial surface of a brachium of the wearer H, thereby the armpit pad 2 can be brought into tight contact with the medial surface of the brachium of the wearer H. As a result, the brachium of the wearer H is stabilized and muscles around the shoulder joint containing the repair rotator cuff can be in a rest state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】装着者の肩関節周囲筋を十分に脱力して、修復腱板が緊張していない脱力状態とすることができ、もって修復腱板の再断裂の発生を低減することができる膝部被覆装具を提供する。【解決手段】腋窩パッド2は、装着者Hの腋窩に配置され、装着時、装着者Hの上腕二頭筋と胸壁に挟まれた状態で配置される。腋窩パッド2によれば、空気の充填又は排出により形状を変形させることができ、装着者Hの胸壁と上腕内側面との間に形成される隙間を埋めるように腋窩パッド2の形状を調節することができ、もって当該腋窩パッド2を装着者Hの上腕内側面に密着させることができる。その結果、装着者Hの上腕を安定させることができ、ひいては修復腱板を含む肩関節周囲筋を安静状態とすることができる。【選択図】図3
