The present disclosure relates to methods for treatment and prevention of disease conditions mediated by T-helper 17 (Th17) and/or T-helper 1 (Th1) T lymphocytes (T cells). In particular, the present disclosure relates to use of anti-CD6 antibody for treatment of disease conditions mediated by auto-reactive Th17 and Th1 T lymphocytes. The methods of the present disclosure further have utility in methods for modulating an immune response by suppressing production of the cytokine IL-23R, thereby decreasing inflammation mediated by Th17 cells.La présente invention concerne des procédés de traitement et de prévention d'états pathologiques médiés par des lymphocytes T (cellules T) T-helper 17 (Th17) et/ou T-helper 1 (Th1). En particulier, la présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'un anticorps anti-CD6 pour le traitement d'états pathologiques médiés par des lymphocytes T Th17 et Th1 auto-réactifs. Les procédés de la présente invention sont en outre utiles dans des procédés de modulation d'une réponse immunitaire par suppression de la production de la cytokine IL-23R, réduisant ainsi l'inflammation médiée par les cellules Th17.
