PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substance capable of exhibiting an excellent effect as an additive for a skin external preparation.SOLUTION: There is provided a mixture of cationized glyceryl glucoside expressed by general formula (I). (In the formula, GG represents a glyceryl glucoside residue R1, R2 and R3 each represents a hdyrocarbyl group X represents a counter anion and n denotes an integer of 1 to 3.) The mixture of the above cationized glyceryl glucoside is used as an additive for a skin external preparation.
