The invention relates to a self-propelled gardening tool making it possible to couple the cutting of the grass and that of the edges, causing fatigue and time savings for the user. This gardening tool includes a self-propelled mower provided on one side and or on each side of the cutting deck, with a cutting edge which will be fixed in the middle of the latter. The fixing system will be provided with a hinge allowing the border cutter to be raised when not in use and with a system for adjusting the cutting height of the borders according to the cutting height of the mower. The edge cutter (s) will be provided with a fixed and flexible metal blade fixed on the fixed axis of the edge cutter motor and above the cutting line to fold the grass towards the cutting lines. This tool will be fitted with one or two switches with two functions, one to stop the operation of the edge cutter, the other to raise it.
