PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable radiation generating device in which the device width can be made compact when it is moved, and the device is unlikely to be overturned when a picture is taken.SOLUTION: A radiation generating device includes: a radiation generation part 1 for generating radiation an arm 2 for supporting the radiation generating part a support pillar 4 for supporting the arm and a support leg part (base member) 6 for supporting the support pillar. The arm can be opened and closed with respect to the support pillar.
