In some embodiments, the beverage container for making one serving of beverage comprises a body portion containing a non-ground coffee bean. The beverage container may include a movable grinding element located within the body portion. The movable crushing element may be configured to move relative to the body portion to crush the coffee beans into coffee beans inside the beverage container. The beverage container may include an inlet configured to receive a liquid influent. The liquid may be mixed with coffee grounds to make a beverage in the beverage container.
