Disclosed is a maxillary skeletal expander fixed in an oral cavity to expand a maxillary bone to left and right sides. According to the present invention, the maxillary skeletal expander comprises: first and second bodies (10, 20)； a gap adjustment member (30) connecting the first and second bodies to adjust a horizontal gap between the first and second bodies； and a coupler guide member (70) guiding the implantation position and direction of a coupler for fixing the first and second bodies to the maxillary bone. The first and second bodies have insertion holes (16, 18, 26, 28) on front and rear sides, respectively, to insert the coupler guide member thereinto wherein an interval between the insertion holes (16, 26) formed on the rear side of the first and second bodies can be different from an interval between the insertion holes (18, 28) formed on the front side of the first and second bodies.
