The present invention provides the use of inosine in the treatment of a disease associated with Treg deficiency or Treg dysfunction, in particular immune dysregulation, polyendocrinopathy, enteropathy, X-linked syndrome (IPEX). In one embodiment of the invention, the inosine can be provided in the form of a bacterial strain that is capable of stimulating the production of inosine. Methods for stimulating the production of inosine in a subject using said strains are also provided, as are methods for the selection of a bacterial strain capable of stimulating inosine production in a subject.La présente invention concerne lutilisation de linosine dans le traitement dune maladie associée à une déficience en Treg ou à un dysfonctionnement des Treg, en particulier une dérégulation immunitaire, une polyendocrinopathie, une entéropathie, un syndrome lié au chromosome X (IPEX). Selon un mode de réalisation de linvention, linosine peut se présenter sous la forme dune souche bactérienne qui est capable de stimuler la production dinosine. La présente invention porte également sur des procédés permettant de stimuler la production dinosine chez un sujet à laide desdites souches, ainsi que sur des procédés permettant la sélection dune souche bactérienne capable de stimuler la production dinosine chez un sujet.
