The present embodiments relate to soluble coffee beverages with enhanced flavors and aromas and method of making same with improvements in such qualities as taste and aroma. The beverages comprise a dry coffee extract component, a pulverized coffee component which has not been extracted, and one of a dairy component, a carbohydrate component or a flavouring component. The pulverized coffee component has been added to the dry coffee extract component after the dry coffee extract is dried.
