PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step eliminating lifting device which has the following characteristics: being certainly capable of being used even during power failure not giving an oppressive feeling or discomfort to a user by eliminating the need for a gate-shaped stand or the like eliminating the need for pit construction to reduce installation costs being low in manufacturing costs and having high space efficiency.SOLUTION: A step eliminating lifting device includes: a base 2 which is installed on a floor surface F a lifting member 3 on which a flat part for putting a body A to be lifted thereon is formed, and which is lifted up and down by being guided by a guide member G of the base 2 and a lifting mechanism C and a driving device D which are positioned on the right and left sides of the flat part. The lifting mechanism C includes: a cam roller and an inclined cam surface with which the cam roller is engaged, and which is inclined upward or downward to the front. The driving device D includes: a water pressure cylinder 5 driven by tap water pressure and a water flow switching device 6 for switching a water flow direction. By extending and contracting the piston rod of the water pressure cylinder 5 to relatively move the cam roller and the inclined cam surface in the front and rear directions, the lifting member 3 is lifted up and down.
