The present invention relates to a method for producing glucoprotein extracted from green tea leaves or hydrolysate thereof, and to a cosmetic composition containing the same as an active ingredient. More specifically, the present invention relates to anti-inflammation, whitening, wrinkle alleviating, and antioxidant uses of a cosmetic composition containing glucoprotein extracted from green tea leaves or hydrolysate thereof. The cosmetic composition containing glucoprotein extracted from green tea leaves or hydrolysate thereof according to the present invention is useful in beautification or health.
