A skin cream and method for making and applying the skin cream having, e.g., a copper component, an ascorbic acid component, a lipid component and a peptide component. The peptide component can include palmitoyl pentapeptide (KTTLS) or hydrolized serecin. The copper component can be a copper solubilizing formulation. The copper solubilizing formulation can include one of (I) copper and a copper-complexing peptide and/or (ii) a copper-complexing protein.
