The apparatus further comprises a first display unit (122) for displaying an ultrasound image that is generated based on ultrasound data received by one of the at least two probes, and a second display unit (124) for displaying a control screen so as to control at least one of the ultrasound data and the ultrasound image based on a user input. A sensing unit may be provided to detect the one probe that is currently activated, and an activation display unit may display the activated probe.
