A negative pressure wound dressing is provided. The negative pressure wound dressing comprises a housing and a wound contacting layer. The housing comprises an opening having a barrier board for separating a liquid containing spatial area and a wound contacting layer containing spatial area. The wound contacting layer is disposed in the wound contacting layer containing spatial area. The liquid containing spatial area of the housing further comprises a negative pressure deliver tube for fluidly connecting a negative pressure source and a suction tube for removing the liquid in the liquid containing spatial area. The barrier board comprises at least one tubular body, one of the opening of the tubular body is disposed in the liquid containing spatial area, and the other opening of the tubular body is disposed in the contacting layer containing spatial area.
