PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emitter that can suppress generation of a siphon phenomenon, and has a check valve which consists of a single member.SOLUTION: An emitter 120 has a water intake part 150, a discharge part 180, a flow channel, and a check valve 170. The water intake part takes in irrigation liquid. The discharge part discharges the irrigation liquid. The flow channel connects the water intake part and the discharge part, and allows the irrigation liquid to circulate. The check valve is arranged in the flow channel, opens the flow channel for irrigation liquid flowing to the discharge part, and closes the flow channel for fluid flowing backward from the discharge part to the flow channel. The check valve has a valve body and a protrusion. The valve body includes a fixed end fixed on an inner wall of the flow channel, and a free end positioned on the opposite side of the fixed end.
