The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for use in the treatment of erythema or telangiectasia associated with rosacea by topical administration of the composition, wherein the composition is a cream comprising oxymetazoline or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and 1% to 50% by weight of an emollient, said emollient comprising medium chain triglycerides diisopropyl adipate, oleyl alcohol, and lanolin.
