PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification tag that is available for small animals such as chicken's chicks, reliably flattens an individual identification display part and enables a piercing part to be integral with the display part and facilitates mounting, is light and low cost, reduces burden for the animals to be identified, and is hard to be stained and can be mounted in the position easily recognized optically.SOLUTION: An identification tag is characterized as follows: the tag comprises at least a flat plate (1) and a receiving plate (2)； the flat plate and the receiving plate are integrally connected by the hinge (3)； the flat plate has a needle-shaped part (11) in the backside； the receiving plate has a receiving part (21) where the tip (110) of the needle-shaped part can be inserted； the receiving part has a retaining structure where the needle-shaped part is fitted and not extracted when being inserted； and identification information can be displayed on a flat plate front side (10).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】鶏のヒナなどのような小動物にも使用可能で、個体識別表示部を確実に平面にすると共に、表示部と突き刺し部が一体で取り付け易く、軽く、安価で、被識別表示動物にとって、負担が少なく、かつ、汚れ難く、光学的に認識し易い位置に取り付けることができる識別用タグを提供する。【解決手段】少なくとも、平板（１）と受け板（２）とからなり、平板と受け板はヒンジ（３）で一体となって繋がり、平板は、裏面に針状部（１１）を有し、受け板は、針状部先端（１１０）が挿入可能な受け部（２１）を有し、受け部は、針状部が挿入されると、嵌合して抜けない抜け止め構造を有すると共に、平板おもて面（１０）に識別情報を表示可能としたことを特徴とする識別用タグ。【選択図】図１
