PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal cage which can reduce the outflow of filth produced in the housing of the animal cage to the outside of the housing, and can prevent that an animal manager contacts with a fluid-transporting pump or the like hung on the door of the animal cage.SOLUTION: Since a closed door 64 in the animal cage 10 is placed at the deeper side of the housing 31 than the frontmost part, flange 35, of the opening of the housing 31, an about constant volume of filth such as excreta can be stayed in the front portion of the door 64, and a load for removing the filth flowing can be reduced. In addition, when a S-shaped hook or the like is hung on the door 64, and when a fluid-transporting pump is hung on the hook, part or whole of the fluid-transporting pump or the like are entered in the inner space of the housing 31, and it can be prevented that an animal manager collides his head with the fluid-transporting pump and injures.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】 動物用ケージの筐体内で発生した汚物が筐体の外へ流れ出すことを低減でき、かつ、動物の管理者が動物用ケージの扉に掛けた輸液ポンプなどに接触しないようにできる動物用ケージを提供すること。【解決手段】 動物用ケージ10は、閉鎖状態にある扉64が筐体31の開口部の最も手前の部分であるフランジ35よりも筐体31の奥側に位置しているので、扉64の手前の部分に糞尿などの汚物を一定程度の量滞留することができるので、流れ出た汚物を除去する負担を低減することができる。さらに、扉64にS字状のフックなどを掛け、そのフックに輸液ポンプなどを掛けたときには、輸液ポンプなどの一部又は全部が筐体31の内部空間に入り込んだ状態となり、動物の管理者が輸液ポンプに頭をぶつけてけがをすることも防ぐことが可能となる。【選択図】 図1
