PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granule feeder (seedling transplanter) enabling that an operator can easily recognize run out of granules and surely replenish the granules to a granule-storing portion.SOLUTION: The granule feeder equipped with a rotary feeder 61 for receiving the granules from a fertilizer hopper 60 and discharging the granules at a prescribed feeding rate is provided with a residual quantity sensor 57 for detecting whether the quantity of the granules stored in the granule-storing portion 60 is a preset prescribed quantity or more, a buzzer 58 which is operated, when the residual quantity sensor 57 detects a quantity less than a prescribed quantity, a notification-stopping switch 59 for stopping the operation of the buzzer 58, a feeding rotation sensor 45 for detecting the rotational speed of the feeding roll 73 of the feeder 61, and a control constitution for again operating the buzzer 58, when the feeding rotation sensor 45 detects a prescribed rotational speed or more after the operation of the notification-stopping switch 59.
