The external portion includes a battery pack for interfacing with at least one battery cell. The battery pack includes a housing, the housing defining air inlet and/or outlet holes such that fluid flow is enabled through at least a part of the housing. A micro-ventilation mechanism moves air through at least a part of the housing.
