The invention relates to a coating comprising a hydrogel layer of a hydrogel of a polysaccharide and polymer brushes attached to the hydrogel layer. The invention also relates to a process for making the coating according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising the steps of: a) providing the hydrogel layer on a substrate, b) attaching an initiator having a radically transferable atom on the hydrogel layer and c) reacting monomers with the initiator to form the polymer brushes attached to the hydrogel layer.L'invention concerne un revêtement comprenant une couche d'hydrogel d'un hydrogel d'un polysaccharide et des brosses polymères fixées à la couche d'hydrogel. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication du revêtement selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant les étapes consistant à : a) placer la couche d'hydrogel sur un substrat, b) fixer un amorceur ayant un atome transférable par voie radicalaire sur la couche d'hydrogel et c) faire réagir les monomères avec l'amorceur pour former les brosses polymères fixées à la couche d'hydrogel.
