FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for estimating quality of treating dentin surface, processed with finishing dental drill during treatment of caries, with orthophosphoric acid. Microsections are prepared from teeth extracted by medical indications. Surface of microsection dentin is processed with finishing dental drill. After that, processed surface is treated with orthophosphoric acid. 2% methylene blue is applied on washed and dried treated surface. Stained surface is examined under microscope and value of stained surface area is determined by 17-position polygraphic scale. The entire scale is taken to be 100%. Intensity of surface staining is used to estimate quality of treatment, which is in direct proportional dependence with intensity of staining. Intensity of surface staining is considered to be maximal, when processed with dental drills with diamond abrasive particles, if value of stained surface area constitutes from 74.43 to 76.37%, and in case of processing with hard-alloy dental drills from tungsten carbide, is values of stained surface area constitutes from 68.84 to 70.36%. Satisfactory quality of treatment corresponds to maximal staining intensity.EFFECT: method makes it possible to estimate quality treatment of dentin surface with orthophosphoric acid due to visual and quantitative analysis of treated surface staining.Изобретение относится к медицине, а именно к стоматологии, и может быть использовано для оценки качества протравливания ортофосфорной кислотой поверхности дентина, обработанной финишным стоматологическим бором при лечении кариеса.
