PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and excellent method for evaluating effect of preventing wrinkles due to ultraviolet rays and a skin external preparation for displaying the effect of preventing wrinkles.SOLUTION: A skin external preparation like a cosmetic, a quasi-drugs, or a medicine is provided which can display reduction in elasticity of collagen due to ultraviolet rays, namely, the effect of preventing wrinkles due to ultrasonic rays on the basis of a method which evaluates the effect of preventing the reduction in elasticity of collagen due to ultrasonic rays by directly or indirectly applying an ultraviolet protective product or an ultrasonic protective component to a collagen gel, an extracted skin, and/or a reconstituted skin and then radiating ultraviolet rays to measure hardness and/or elasticity, and results of the method.
