The present invention relates to a mutant strain of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus which can be used as vaccines. The mutant strain of virus of the present invention is more attenuated than a parent strain and has low pathogenicity and high stability. The mutant strain of virus can be also used as an effective preventive and therapeutic vaccine for PRRS by enhancing secretion of interferon-alpha and interferon-gamma.본 발명은 백신으로 사용할 수 있는 돼지생식기 및 호흡기 증후군(PRRS) 바이러스의 변이주에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 바이러스 변이주는 모균주보다 약독화되어 있어 병원성이 낮고 안정성이 높으면서, 인터페론-알파 및 인터페론-감마의 분비를 향상시켜 PRRS 질환의 효과적인 예방 및 치료용 백신으로 사용할 수 있다.
