The present invention falls within the technical field of temporomandibular joint prostheses and relates to a replacement system for said temporomandibular joint comprising at least one prosthesis configured to be implanted in the mandible to functionally reconstruct a diseased and/or damaged joint, wherein the temporomandibular joint replacement system allows replacing the piece of the prosthesis subjected to wear in an easy and minimally invasive way for the patient.
