A solar powered lawn lamp comprises a lamp holder 1, a lampshade 2 and a top cover 3. A power supply assembly 4, light source assembly 5, driving assembly 6 and optical element 7 are provided in the lampshade 2. An output shaft of the driving assembly 6 is connected to the optical element 7 and drives the optical element to rotate. Light emitted from the light source assembly 5 is refracted through the optical element 7 to project various dynamic rotating illumination patterns. A reflector 9 is located above a base 8 to reflect light passing through the optical element 7.
