PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stock base-cooling device easily and conveniently set up and efficiently and locally cooling the stock base of a cultivation plant.SOLUTION: The stock base-cooling device locally cools the stock base of a cultivation plant P, and includes: a thin-layered, paper-like, fabric-like or sponge-like water-permeable material 6 having water permeability which is placed in contact with the stock base of the cultivation plant P and a cooling pipe 4 and an affusion pipe 5 each serving as water-supply means for supplying water to the water-permeable material 6. The water-permeable material 6 is moisturized with water from the water-supply means, and the moisture is vaporized from the moisturized water-permeable material 6 to cool the stock base via the vaporized latent heat. The stock base of the cultivation plant P is cooled via the vaporized heat cooling because the water-permeable material 6 is placed in contact with the stock base of the cultivation plant P, so that the stock base of the cultivation plant P can be efficiently and locally cooled.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】設置作業を簡便に行うことができ、且つ栽培植物の株元部分を効率よく局所的に冷却することが可能な株元冷却装置の提供。【解決手段】栽培植物Pの株元部分を局所的に冷却する株元冷却装置であって、栽培植物Pの株元部分に接触して配設される、薄層状、紙状、布状またはスポンジ状で透水性を有する透水材6と、透水材6に水分を供給する給水手段である冷却管4及び灌水管5を備えた。透水材6は給水手段からの水により湿潤され、湿潤された透水材6から水分が蒸発し、気化潜熱により冷却される。透水材6は栽培植物Pの株元に接触して配設されるので、この気化熱冷却によって栽培植物Pの株元が冷却される。従って、栽培植物Pの株元部分を効率よく局所的に冷却することが可能である。【選択図】図1
