The invention relates to a device comprising: a motor (1); a rotary shaft (2) actuated by the motor (1); first cables (3) that can be wound on the rotary shaft (2); and a first gantry (100). The first gantry (100) in turn comprises: first posts (5); first arms (7) connected to the first posts (5) and to columns of the aviary; first pulleys (8) by means of which the first cables (3) run; first movable sleeves (9) actuated by the first cables (3); and first vertically movable platforms (11) on the first gantry (100), wherein the birds can be mounted on said first platforms (11) to change height. The structure described allows the birds to be transported up or down through the different levels of a multilevel aviary.
