There are provided novel pyrimidinedione compounds useful for treating hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and conditions associated with left ventricular hypertrophy or diastolic dysfunction and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The synthesis and characterization of compounds and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, as well as methods of treating HCM and other forms of heart disease are described.
