PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put a container in liquid without providing a carrying section in an oblique direction in carrying means 12 when immersing the container in the liquid 22 of an immersion tank 10 by holding the container 2.SOLUTION: A container 2 carried in a row by a supply conveyor 4 is gripped by a gripper 36 provided in first transfer means 38 of container delivery means 14, and is delivered to a holder 20 of reversal sterilization means 8, and is taken out by gripping by the gripper 36 of second transfer means 40 after sterilizing an inner surface by reversing these containers 2 by the reversal sterilization means 14 thereafter, and is inserted into a holder 28 of a carrier conveyor 12 installed in the immersion tank 10.
