A shampoo composition excellent in fading-inhibiting effect and use feeling is provided. The shampoo composition is characterized by comprising:(i) an anionic surfactant which is a taurine-derivative surfactant(ii) an amphoteric surfactant which is an alkylamide betaine surfactant(iii) a cationic conditioning polymer and(iv) 0.01 to 1 mass % of a quaternary ammonium group-containing silylated urethane polymer.
