PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical endoscope with excellent durability, suppressing breakage and deterioration in fixing parts of flexible outer skins subjected to autoclave sterilization process and hydrogen peroxide plasma sterilization process, and retaining necessary flexibility and protectiveness and a method for manufacturing the same.
SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus includes tubular flexible outer skins 22A and 22B covering the surface of members of an endoscope, and fixing parts fixed to the members within the flexible outer skin tubes by binding ends of the flexible outer skins 22A and 22B with threads 26 wound from outside. The fixing part has an epoxy resin layer whose inner layer on the side bound by the thread is soft and whose outer layer on the front surface side is hard. The resin layer 28 has a double-layered structure including a resin inner layer 30A whose elastic modulus is at least the elastic modulus of the flexible outer skin and less than 1,000 MPa and a resin outer layer 30B whose elastic modulus is at least 1,000 MPa.
