PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for preventing deformation of a sternum, while reducing a burden on a neonate or an infant.SOLUTION: A wearing part 3 comprises a chest-side wearing part 5 and a back-side wearing part 7. The chest-side wearing part 5 and the back-side wearing part 7 are separable from each other. The wearing part 3 is formed by covering a core material 17 composed of synthetic resin-made sponge with a cloth cover material 19. The cover material 19 comprises a front surface 21 formed of nylon pile fabric and a back surface 23 formed of cotton fabric. The surface 21 constitutes a female member as connected parts of hook and loop fasteners. Male members 25 as connecting parts of the hook and loop fasteners are provided at the tip parts of the back surface of a pair of chest-side belt-like parts 11 and a pair of back-side belt-like parts 15, respectively. A pad 27 formed of urethane foam has flexibility. The male members of the hook and loop fasteners are provided on one side of the pad 27, and the female member 29 of the hook and loop fasteners is provided on the back surface 23 of a chest-side main part 9. The pad 27 can be freely attached to and detached from the chest-side main part 9.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】新生児、乳児であっても負担が小さい胸骨変形防止用プロテクタを提供する。【解決手段】装着部3は胸部側装着部5と背中側装着部7から成り、胸部側装着部5と背中側装着部7とは分離可能である。装着部3は、合成樹脂製のスポンジから成る芯材17を布製のカバー材19によって覆ったものである。カバー材19は、ナイロン製のパイル生地から成る表面21と、コットン製の生地から成る裏面23とから成る。表面21が面ファスナーの被連結部としての雌部材を構成する。面ファスナーの連結部としての雄部材25は、一対の胸側帯状部11と一対の背中側帯状部15の裏面の先端部にそれぞれ備えられている。発泡ウレタンから成るパッド27は可撓性を有している。パッド27の一方側の面には面ファスナーの雄部材が備えられ、胸側主部9の裏面23には面ファスナーの雌部材29が備えられている。パッド27は胸側主部9に対して着脱自在である。【選択図】 図1
