PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling floating virus infection, capable of preventing animals from being infected with virus, with the animals living in a safe state.SOLUTION: An aqueous chlorite solution and an acid-containing aqueous solution are accommodated in two chemical liquid tanks, respectively, from which a specified quantity of each of the solutions is periodically fed to a reaction tank for a reaction to generate chlorine dioxide gas. The resulting chlorine dioxide gas is diluted with air to a specified concentration (preferably 0.8 ppm). The chlorine dioxide gas at the specified concentration is supplied into a space where floating viruses can be present. The method for controlling floating virus infection can thereby inactivate floating viruses, with animals living in a safe state.【課題】動物が安全に生存したままの状態で動物へのウイルス感染を防止することが可能な、浮遊ウイルス感染対策方法の提供。
