PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device having excellent operability, capable of freely rotatably supporting a medical instrument, fixedly supporting the medical instrument at an arbitrary position, and reducing a load on an operator or an assistant.
SOLUTION: The medical device includes: an inner ring 82 having a peripheral surface part for holding the operation part body 22 of an endoscope 21 as the medical instrument, and a notched part 82a arranged at a part of the peripheral surface part an outer ring 81 having a peripheral surface part for supporting the inner ring 82 and a notched part 81a corresponding to the notched part 82a of the inner ring 82 arranged in a part of the peripheral surface part and rolling grooves 84 and rollers 91 as holding means for rotatably supporting the outer ring 81 and the inner ring 82 with their axial centers as a center and holding the outer ring 81 and the inner ring 82 between them so as not to be movable in their axial direction.
