PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect trap allowing a trapped state of insects attached to an adhesive sheet 51 to be recognized by an image-taking means 6, enabling the insect-trapping information having high analytic accuracy to be obtained by enabling the picture of the surface of the adhesive sheet 51 to be taken by a prescribed area span while moving in the longitudinal direction, and enabling the whole device to be made compact.SOLUTION: The insect trap is constituted as follows. An insect-attracting light 4 is arranged in the depth direction of an opening part 331 through which the insects come in and out, and a prescribed insect-trapping space for trapping the insects is formed therebetween.
