A system of suspended brackets 1 supporting drip irrigation pipework 3, the brackets pivotally attached to a fixed framework 4. The brackets are able to pivot via a hinged connection to lower the drip pipe to the ground or growing area 2 when watering is needed and raise it above ground when not in use. The brackets may be moved by hand, by an electrical motor, or by a hydraulic ram. The brackets are preferably made of stainless steel or polyethylene. The pipework is preferably a polyethylene material.
