Die Erfindung betrifft ein Implantat-Halbzeug aus Kunststoff, welches einen Verbund aus wenigstens einer, für den Kontakt mit einem biologischen Material vorgesehenen, biokompatiblen thermoplastischen Kunststoffeinheit (A) mit einem Elastizitätsmodul EAund wenigstens einer thermoplastischen Kunststoffeinheit (B) mit einem Elastizitätsmodul EBumfasst, wobei für die Elastizitätsmodule dieser Kunststoffeinheiten EA<； EB gilt, und die Kunststoffeinheiten in ihrer Verbundzone nahtlos miteinander thermisch verbunden sind. Die Erfindung betrifft auch die Herstellung des Implantat-Halbzeugs aus Kunststoff sowie die Verwendung des Implantat-Halbzeugs als Implantat oder zur Fertigung eines Implantats daraus, insbesondere die Verwendung als Dentalimplantat oder zur Fertigung eines Dentalimplantats.
