PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion section of a flexible endoscope which is inserted into a deep part of the luminal tissue easily in a short time by forcibly bending a distal part of a flexible tube adjacent to the back of a bending section in such a manner that the flexible tube follows the bending section and bends in the same direction as the bending section with a curve larger than in the bending section.
SOLUTION: In the insertion section of a flexible endoscope which keeps a guide coil 8 that receives and guides an operation wire 7 inserted into and arranged within the flexible tube 1, the distal part of the guide coil 8 is fixed to the inner periphery of the flexible tube 10 at a position adjacent to a hard coupler 3, where the bending section 2 and the flexible tube 1 are coupled, and to rearward of the hard coupler 3.
