An infusion system for administering multiple medical fluids to a patient comprises: a multiplicity of infusion devices (20, 30)； an organization device (2, 3) comprising a multiplicity of slots (201-208) for receiving the multiplicity of infusion devices (20, 30)； and a control device (7) for controlling an infusion operation of the multiple infusion devices (20, 30), the control device (7) comprising a storage device (73) for storing infusion parameters to control the infusion operation of the multiplicity of infusion devices (20, 30). Herein, the storage device (73) stores information relating to a desired allocation of at least a portion of the multiplicity of infusion devices (20, 30) to the slots (201 -208) of the organization device (2, 3), wherein the control device (7) is constituted, for setting up the infusion operation, to provide instructions to a user (U), according to the desired allocation, how to allocate the infusion devices (20, 30) to the slots (201- 208) of the organization device (2, 3).
